The former Eastern Bloc is finally recovering in wine-making after losing so many years of evolution during the Communist regime. We are thrilled to introduce you to the fascinating grape universe that we first discovered in 2012 when we traveled by car from the Czech Republic all the way to Mongolia, sipping Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Serbian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Turkish, and Georgian wines.
Let us dive together into grape varieties local to these countries and discover exciting natural wines while heading East toward the cradle of ancestral wine-making methods.
What is included in the price:
- 2.5 hours wine tasting experience guided by WSET 3 certified sommelier Ramona Enache-Lorenz
- 6-8 wines, 1 from each country on the route (line-up still to be finalized)
- cheese pairing + fruit + olives + crackers - enough to cover for dinner
