This workshop is designed for anyone who’s curious about sourdough but unsure how to fit it into everyday life. Whether you're juggling work, studies, or simply a packed schedule, you’ll learn how to bake delicious and healthy sourdough bread without needing to plan your whole week around it.
Over the course of a three hours long, relaxed and hands-on session, we’ll discuss the entire sourdough process - from feeding the starter to baking. You'll mix your own dough, learn stretching techniques and shape it by yourself. You’ll get a feel for the dough, learn what really matters (and what doesn’t). You'll take your dough home and bake it the next day.
To make things even more enjoyable, the workshop starts with a sourdough tasting. We’ll enjoy a variety of freshly baked sourdough breads, focaccia and crackers, paired with amazing cheese and olive oil - so come hungry!
At the end of the session, you’ll head home with your own starter, a step-by-step guide to help you keep going, and the confidence to bake your first loaf on your own. I'll provide you with a print-out and a pdf of a guide with all the information we've covered at the workshop and add you to a WhatsApp group with other workshop participants to provide support as you continue your sourdough journey at home.
