Machine knitting is a meditative and satisfying activity, it offers you the chance to see knitting happening quite fast, especially when compared to hand-knitting. You can shape and blend yarns during the process and if you think you want to change it, the piece of textile can be unraveled and knit once again. The process is faster than hand-knitting, however, it requires patience and a bit of dexterity in order to get to know how it works.
In this workshop you get a chance to work individually on the machine for the whole duration of the workshops. You get to experiment with two-color knitting, understand the differences between different types of stitches and how they can be created with the help of the machine.
