Enter the world of abstract expressionism by using aquarelle oil pastels our Aestrange Artist Amelie Degendorfer’s class. You will be guided through the process of abstracting motives, making a limited choice of colors and the process of painting. First, we will make use of highly pigmented oil pastels, later we will try aquarelle techniques to create smooth surfaces. To round up your painting there will be tips on how to varnish your work once you take it to your new home. The expressionist use of colors and abstract patterns will try and engage you with your inner world and feelings. In the end, we will have built a platform for discussion with every member trying to state what they feel by viewing the different motives.
At the Aestrange Art & Wine Nights, Berlin artists share their tips and techniques to help you create your own oil painting. You will learn all about oil painting, including how to mix colors, add depth to your work, and bring your subject to life. As we paint, we celebrate the evening with a wine tasting, as well as exceptional non-alcoholic alternatives. You can choose your pairing on-site.
The events are held in the Aestrange Studio, located right above the iconic KitKat Club in Berlin Mitte. The Aestrange Studio is equipped with comfortable furniture, ambient music, and delightful scents to enhance creativity. All painting materials, such as canvases, brushes, oil paints, and drinks, are included. Aestrange Art & Wine Nights are perfect for a fun night out, creative pre-drinks, a celebration, or a personal treat.
