Join us for Candles & Prosecco, a hands-on scented candle-making workshop at Galleria Lucia, our colourful store & working candle atelier in the heart of Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg.
Located on beautiful Oderberger Straße, just steps from Mauerpark, Kastanienallee and the historic Berlin Wall, our atelier is where Galleria Lucia candles are handmade — and for the evening, you get to become the candle maker.
Grab a glass of Prosecco on us and start creating a scented candle that is completely your own. Choose your favourite glass from our collection of colours, smell your way through our selection of premium fragrance oils, pick your wax colour and finish, and add natural crystals if you fancy a little extra magic. Finally, give your creation a name and complete it with your own personalised label.
There are no identical candles here. Whether yours ends up colourful and bold, soft and romantic, dark and mysterious or completely unexpected, every detail is chosen by you.
We’ll guide you step by step through the candle-making and pouring process, so absolutely no previous experience is needed. Along the way, you’ll learn how scented candles are made, discover our favourite candle-care tips and find out what to look for when choosing more sustainable candles.
Your finished 260 ml scented candle is made using natural vegan soy wax, a cotton wick and premium fragrance oils, with an approximate burn time of 60 hours. At the end, we’ll beautifully package your creation, ready for you to take home.
While your candle sets, top up your glass, browse the Galleria Lucia store and discover our handmade candle collections, design objects and a curated selection of pieces from local independent artists.
And when the workshop is over, your evening doesn’t have to be. With Mauerpark, Kastanienallee and some of Prenzlauer Berg’s best-loved bars, restaurants and cafés just around the corner, you’re already in the perfect spot to continue your night in Berlin.
