Join me in my home studio to design and sew your own U.BAG, a crossbody purse using fabric sourced from vintage paragliders!
The upcycled Paraglider Nylon you will use comes in a rainbow of colors, with endless combination possibilities. It’s super lightweight and strong, perfect for a little purse that you can wear anywhere.
In this workshop, you will receive:
- A simple intro to color theory and color selection
- An introduction to the materials & their background
- Your fabrics, zipper, and straps
- A Lesson in basic/intermediate sewing skills*
- A made by you U.BAG!
*No prior sewing machine experience is needed – seriously! Whether you're a total newbie or comfy with an industrial machine, this experience is for you.
With expert guidance every step of the way, you'll select your dream materials and colors to bring your unique purse to life.
We keep our workshop cozy and intimate, with spaces for up to three people in each session. Grab a friend or make new ones – we only need a minimum of two attendees to get the party started.
PLEASE NOTE: My studio is located on the 4th floor and unfortunately there is no elevator.
