In this creative workshop, you'll learn how to transform cleaned and prepped oyster shells into beautiful, one-of-a-kind works of art. Olivia will guide you through a simple decoupage technique using a selection of patterned napkins and specialty papers to decorate the interiors of the shells.
You’ll also be introduced to the vibrant world of alcohol inks and explore various painting techniques to bring your designs to life. Additional art supplies—including acrylic paint markers, gold leaf, and gemstones will be available to help you further embellish and personalize your pieces.
Each participant will have the opportunity to decorate three oyster shells in total.
To secure that your art stays in place using alcohol ink, they will need to dry overnight and be varnished and picked up within a week after the workshop. If this is an issue, get in touch with Olivia beforehand and she may try to work out a solution if you're unable to come at a later date.
