How about relaxing with a creative hands on activity after a long day of work? Pick your favorite colours from my wide palette of collected materials. I am going to show you how to cut the sherds into shapes. You can then assemble them the way you wish. We are going to glue the little bits onto the the shape and as a last step, fill the gaps. The final mosaic is going to be magical - it always is :)
We are working with upcycling materials such as old tiles and broken dishes, so if you have any ceramic waste that you want to use for your art work, feel free to bring it. Maybe your shattered favorite mug starts a new life as a beautiful mosaic piece..?
Each of you can chose to make
- a mosaic letter (about 15cm, 1 cm thick) or
- a mosaic picture (round or square, about 12cm) or
- a mosaic hook (iron, black, round 7,5cm + length of hook)
