Mandala Means “Circle” in Sanskrit and represents “wholeness” or the “universe” and is often used in rituals. A mandala represent the structure of life, you can find these repetitive patterns in nature like: flowers and pineapples and even in the human body like: eyes and human cells. Creating, drawing and colouring mandalas connects us to our deeper self, our subconscious and therefore gives us a relaxed feeling.
In this workshop you will learn to draw your own mandala from scratch. While drawing you will discover your own patterns and colours. It is like a journey inwards. Some mandalas will be more organic, while others will be more geometric or even assymetrical. Some will have vibrant colors, others will be made out of black and white patterns.
The workshop will be focussed on drawing and connecting with yourself, so you can express what is inside you. You can choose from different materials like pencils, graphic pens and watercolor pencils.
